Cleaned up the garage yesterday, moved a few things around and found my reloading/casting bench.

Looking good! My man cave is still in a state of confusion pending the completion of a new work bench and cupboards. The new loading bench and cupboards are in and I've just about completed the upacking of my reloading stuff. My man cave, like yours, mine used to be gaarge also.......

What is that green stuff just outside your garage door?
I was at the gun range today - it was 15F with a fifteen MPH wind out of the north. The Lee Enfield No. 4 (longbranch) shot better than I did.
BTW: there was two feet of snow on the big bore range and 4 feet in the drift in front of the target boards.

I also have to show your photos to my wife - she has seen very little of the floor in my garage and in my workshop - she knows there is a floor there somewhere. She reminds me that it wouldn't be that difficult to find it.....

My wife, on occassion, has seen fit to pontificate at some length about the disorganized mess, in her opinion, that passes for my garage and reloading room.

I usually respond that if I don't criticize how she organizes her kitchen, she should be careful about how she criticizes a part of the house that she doesn't even use. That always ends the discussion.

I like your shelving for powder and bullets. That's neat looking.

Mine is in the house except for the casting table. Yes, I know it's green and not red, lol.

Looks great! I like the benches that both of you have! Also, do you have any concern leaving the powder and some of the other things outside with the humidity, etc.?

Oh that's my Star sizer/ Luber. Just didn't have the air line attached to the cylinder. Yeah It's really great, even Air Conditioned !!!! No I need a urinal and a refrigerator for some nice cold water... Cause it's gonna get hot down here in a few weeks...
By the way, If I was still married I'm sure that would be a gardening house or a place for my ex mother in law to stay!!!

If you can see the floor and set anything larger than coffee cup down on a horizontal surface it is not really a man cave....

Had to make it neat, I hate not being able to find stuff. I built the room in my basement. My friends complain because the ceiling is low, but I'm only 5'7" so it doesn't bother me. It's still not as neat as I'd like to see it, I'm waiting on lower cabinets as we speak.

That's my story and I'm sticking to it.
I'd post a pic but I can't find my camera. I know it's in the man cave somewhere.

Week?? I haven't seen mine in years--she ran off with the butler. I'd show a photo of my man-cave, but as someone else said--I can't squeeze in there with something so big as a camera right now... :D

I built the center line that divides the two sides of my garage on wheels. That way I can move things around to clean and to arange things as I need the space for different projects.

I bought 25 bread carts from a surplace place for $100. They make a great mobil base for a storage cabinet.

Y'all got some nice casting/reloading areas. I'd put a picture of mine up but the wife gets the idea that 'man cave' means the man can store stuff in there that the woman doesn't want to look at right at that particular moment in life. If she's rearranging, she puts it in there. I'm lucky if I can find my presses right now. I will soon enough, I have shooting to do so I must reload something in order to shoot it.

Duke Nukem and Rbertalotto. You have now gone and made me feel like an insignificant piece of dust. :D

Now this thread has some great setups for casting/reloading and I am stealing a bunch of ya'lls ideas and putting a plan together. I should get something worthy in a few years. I am going to start by upgading from my Lee hand reloaders and sledge hammer to a progressive and then away I go. :)

Rbertalotto,
I think you need a picture of yourself in that room actually working to convince everyone that it's yours. That's too nice, too neat, too tidy and too expensive to belong to anyone on this forum.

Thanks folks! When my wife and I bought this house 15 years ago, before we even moved in, I had this room built in the basement. It is my sanctuary!

All that stuff has been acquired over thirty five years of reloading and shooting.....I tell my wife "it's money in the bank!"

Lots more pictures of this area, my machine shop and my garage with the motorcycle lift built into the floor!

I have just moved into his room, we decided that if the SO has the dining room converted into an office/arts room, I should bring my stuff in from the garage and trunks, and actually set it up to use.

We have been having a difficult time finding a reliable tenant for even 1 room, so this bedroom was up for grabs, and i grabbed. Not really put together yet, been trying to catch up on the house maintenance.

Over a year and no new photos????

I think there is a sticky or something else dedicated to this topic....

Its sort of funny looking back on what it looked like 18 months ago compared to today....lockers are fuller, rebuilt the mounts (gonna rework those again), added a Lee Load All II for shotgun...

I cleaned up the garage two days ago...getting ready to work on a car and deer season. Had to find the tools and hunting gear.
