Does anyone use this bullet in a '92 or '73? I know round nose designs have been used in leverguns for a long time, but this profile seems a little more pointed.

It should feed like a dream, but I am curious about using it with Federal primers.

I do not know about Federal primers but I use it in my Rossi, Its actually quite blunt. The more classic round nose is the 158 2R. It feeds very smooth and seems to shoot quite well.
Beats the heck out of their 158 grain Round Nose Flat Point taht is a glorified wad cutter.

i was wanting to get the round nose flat point for a marlin, but the 1r would be nice for target shootin' to.

I already have the mould and have had good luck with it in revolver.

My uncle started shooting SASS and is currently using commercial cast 145 grain flat points.

These would be powder puff loads...typical wadcutter target velocities.
