I have some Hunter's Supply .311 193gr GC cast bullets that I want to shoot in my .308 Ishapore Enfield. The bore of my rifle slugs at .308. Would I be better off sizing the bullets to .309 or shooting them as is??

Will they slip fit in a fired case as is ? Will a dummy round chamber easily? If so I can see no reason to size. They've told me .001-002 over or to fit the throat/lead. I've a .300-308 30-06' ,it takes .312 to fill up the throat top leading and shoot groups.

I go 00.002" over my slug size in my 45-70. I agree with Harter66 with making sure you can chamber easily, firing a weapon out of battery is potentially fatal.

Shoot 'em as is ..........long as the loaded round chambers easily.
