Anybody know anything about the Desert Eagle 1911G? The 1911G is the full size. I've been doing research on them and have came up with some good results. Of course I've ran across a few die hard 1911 nay sayers but overall it looks like a great pistol for the buck.
I handled one at a local gun shop. The trigger was unbeliveable smooth with about a 4# trigger pull. No creep to speak of and the fit and finish was great.
The biggest drawback that I've heard so far was the huge roll stamp on the side which doesn't bother me. The sights lack somewhat because the front and rear are both solid black.
Everyone is saying that the pistol is performing without any problems with everything that it was feed and the accuracy was superb.
The pistols can be found in the $650-$700 range.
