Just poured a few of these from my new mold. The mountain mold dropped out smoothly at 220 grains with the check with Lyman #2. Loaded a number with 8700, way too slow, trail boss-filled to the neck and 30g 5744.
9.3-220gr MM, Unlubed MM, .308-170gr RD, and 375-250 Lee sized to .367. Sorry for the ugly snot, I tumble lube everything and over do it abit.

do tell.... do they shoot? what are you using for gc's? those 9.3's sound like a real sledgehammer for larger game. wish I had a need for one.

Yep it is a real bone crusher. took a decent bull elk last fall, by that was J's. One in the lungs broadside and the second broke up the shoulder to ensure he didnt get any ideas of running off down one of those Colorado hills. The cast shoot really well, I have little trouble picking off golfball sized rocks off of my lake dam@50 Off hand of course. CZ make a really great handling mannlicher. Sure a lot more fun to play with than 64 grains of H4350 behind 286 grains. The cast loads are on par with a really heavy load in a marlin 357.
