I see on E-Bay that the price of ingots is steadly going up in price with all vendors, no matter what alloy it is---I think we are in for some tough times:(

Wheel weights in my area are not to be had.

Illinois will outlaw the use of lead WW January 1st of this year. Grab what you can, while you can.

The price on this website has been stable for quite a while, though.
You would be better off buying from the people here because at least they have a reason to avoid melting zinc into the ingots.

All of my lead buying lately has been through this website, save for a small # score I made at the recycling center turning in cans.

I used to buy a lot of WW's on ebaY, but I wouldn't trust it with the way things are now unless I really really needed some.

And to think I was buying lino and mono and babbitt on eBay for less than $1/pound delivered. Wow, things have changed!

A few years ago ! possibly 5 to 10 , I bought 150 lbs monotype and 100 lbs linotype from a person in California for $35.00 per 50 lbs delivered in USPS flate rate boxes .
I dont think the USPS was happy delevering 250 lbs of the stuff !
Almost every time i send something in the flat rate box they allways say how much it would cost regulary.
