I got a call from an aunt who lives in the midwest, her brother was a reloader and passed away. He left behind a few partial cans of powder and she was wondering if their was a safe way to nuetralize it for safe disposal. Any suggestions!

Tell her to spread it in the garden, it will add nitrogen to the soil, seriously!

Where in the midwest some of us here would pick it up and destroy it for her.

As has been said put it on the garden around plants and work it into the soil.
You could also find someone who reloads and they will take it off your hands.

Yes, it makes excellent fertilizer. I just sprinkle it in the flower beds and that is that.

Maybe even pay a little for it if close enough:)

Thanks for the suggestions, she was advised to call the local Fire Dept. She explained what it was and they sent one of their guys to pick it up. It was a small amount maybe 5 or 6 containers all just partially filled.

Maybe one of them is a shooter and will get some benefit from it...Ray

Depending on the vintage, the cans could be the value to this cache.
