Only made in 1968. Picked one up very cheap with a couple missing parts. Like to find an original or a copy of the 16 page manual . Still missing the through the stock inner mag tube/plunger thing, looks like may be able to adapt same from similar guns. Anybody else have one of these oddballs ?

Pics of Franchi. As you see, the operating handle is missing. It was held in with a detent, meant to be pulled out as used as the tool to back out the barrel nut just in front of the receiver for very quick takedown. Only made in 1968, only year Franchi made a .22. Except for the receiver hump, kinda resembles a Browning. Very light, about 4.5 lbs. I have since posting found a manual on Abebooks, the handle from Numrich. No one has the mag tube assembly, but hope to be able to adapt something.

Very nice. I had mostly forgotten about Franchi guns. It's been about 30years since I last held one.
