Last fall my neighbor gave me a mess of Banana peppers. I cut some up & used them in a pot of beans, scrambled eggs & a couple of other dishes. Couldn't tell that they added any taste at all. I dried about a dozen over the winter & now am wondering what to do with them. Any ideas? They don't have much taste that I can tell....

Maybe rehydrate and put some on pizza . The ones I used to grow years ago were a little sweeter than bell peppers but no heat to them at all .

I use them in any recipe I might use bell pepper, in addition or as a substitute. I particularly like them in scrambled eggs.

Just toss them in your next pot of chili.

Plant 'em next to a stand of cayenne, tabasco or other hot peppers, save some seeds, and try them again NEXT year!
It's a wonderful practical exercise in plant breeding.
