Bushnell Holo sight and 629

Picked up a 6 1/2 inch Mod 629-1 today with a Holo sight on it. My first .44 and my first sighting device. What can anyone tell me about the Holo sight? I believe it is made by EOTECH if my researh is correct. Any help would be great. I have some brass and dies the The Old Man gave me, so it will be going to the range next weekend. Thanks

Should be fine on the .44. I have ruined a lot of stuff on the .44, scopes and red dots, etc. I called about the Bushnell holo sight for my .475 and they did not think it would take the recoil. It should be fine on a .44 though.
Most are tough but the way it mounts to the base can be weak. Keep it tight!
