I went to 3 local fabric suppliers and all the stuffing kind of stuff they had was polyester. Will polyester work, or does anyone care to ship me a small amount of it for a few bucks via paypal?

thanx,
Ron

Polyester is the chemical name. Dakron is the trade name. Same thing.

Pillow filling, or more correctly, batting. As Jim said, Dacron is a polyester filler.

Has any one tried the bead type poly fill, kind of like the bean bags guts?
Seems like it might be easier than cutting Dacron patches. Might be able to use Lee dippers.

Most any old stuffed toy will be full of much useful stuff and cost next to nothing.

Pillows and stuffed animals are often filled with the white dacron stuffing. You can probably find many years of supply at the thrift store for a couple of dollars.

Go to the goodwill and buy a 50 cent pillow. Read the tag. You will have enough dacron to last a lifetime.
Or you can do like I did, and say "Honey you said we should get new pillows......"
You know where the old one end up [smilie=s:

Anyone use Shot Buffer? I know that Veral of LBT fame endorses its use in certain calibers with particular powders. I guess the real question is it truly necessary to use any filler if you choose a course powder which fills a good amount of the case ?
Is there an ideal cut off point ? Like percentage of case volume ?
