Remington AR25 in 7mm-08

A friend is thinking of buying a Remington AR25 in 7mm-08 and he asked if he could shot cast bullets. I really didn't know but I told him someone on this site might know. So if anyone has any experience with this type of weapon I would like to know.

Not familiar with the AR25 but I have an AR15 that I shoot cast in, currently in the 5.56 upper and soon in the 6.8 SPC upper.

Lots of us here shooting cast in AR-15's and a few doing it in AR-10's.

Was playing with cast in my AR10 last week. No trouble

It will do fine.
Montana rifleman has (last week anyway) 7-08 ar-10 (ar25) barrels on clearance for like $65 bucks or something crazy like that. That is a preimium match grade barrel. With that kind of price you could build a real nice rifle.
