Just like everyone else I am interested in swaging 22lr cases into 224 bullets.

Does anybody make a reasonable priced kit besides $803 corbin kit?

Well I can dream and maybe thats why there are still 22lr casings on the ground. I should pick them up while the getting is good.

Thanks
Will

Welcome to our site.

I have a corbin outfit for making .224 cal bullets.

I've had it since the early 80's and have many a thousand bullets with it

Before I knew I needed a license to sell them, I had made enough to pay for the price of the press and dies.

I have made and used these bullets to kill untold number of prairie dogs and ground hogs.

If you are young enough and like to shoot you'll get your monies worth out of it.

I just noticed that corbin sells the whole kit seperately. I might go that route. I might be prohibited from casting lead at my current location.

Richard Corbin lists a couple of 224 flat based die sets in stock, 489.00

But they are for a Walnut Hill press.

Once you get the dies a simple de-rimming setup is pretty straight forward, or buy Richards, $105
