...or the sonovagun might split down the side, explosively expelling the full bottle of pressurized thick brown goo right into the palm of your hand, leaving you looking for all the world like a gorilla preparing to send his regards to the zoo visitors.

This might be one of those things of which "There are two kinds of people: Those who've done it and those who haven't... yet."

I cut the tip off of a cotton swab and push the shaft down the spout hole to unclog it from the last use before nuking it, less messy that way. And yes, it does make quite a mess when you squeeze the cold bottle too hard. [smilie=1:

This has the makin's of a class action liability lawsuit. I checked the LLA bottle for a warning label and then put it in the freezer - - we're gonna be rich !

Mine tried to get thick on me so a added a touch of mineral spirits to it . About the only problem I have with it now is fixed by poking a pin down the spout .

I poke a piece of .056" 80/20 brass wound guitar string down mine to open it up. But it can reclog when it's cold and thick.

I've not used it much, but , uh,,, I just unscrew the top, and pour out what I think I need.

Ha ha! (Snrrk!) That's an interesting association you've made there!

"I poke a piece of .056" 80/20 brass wound guitar string down mine to open it up."

I use a similar method. I keep a 2.7" piece of dual-tapered 0.83" dia. wood in the spout - I prefer hickory, but I'll use whatever comes in the toothpick container! :-D

To keep the nozzle open on the LLA bottles instead of flipping down the little spout, stick a piece of those red tubular things that come with WD 40 cans in the hole.
