Win/ Miroku 32/20 [Archive]

Has anyone slugged one of these? I have a new TD on the way and trying to get prepared. Also, will 30 cal. gas checks work on 311316 or similar if sizing .313 or larger?

I use thirty caliber checks up to .315 sometimes , I imagine you will be fine on that bullet .

Incidently I have a Browning that I think was made by Miroku and it slugs at .314" , hope that helps .

I have a Browning, older, 80's version, that likes it boolits sized .313. The bore slugs out at about .3123. I have to say that I am still struggling to get a really good load that does not require a gas check.

I have two Miroku .32-20 rifles -- a Browning Model 53 and a new Winchester 1892 take-down. Both barrels slug .311". I shoot .312 and .313 bullets in both.

I read on Mountain Mold site that these have no throat to speak of. They suggest a bore ride nose design. Have any of you had problems with that? or reamed a throat. I have a Miroku 71 that has no throat. Be handy if a person could borrow a reamer to open these out a little.
