After pencil testing per the "sticky" I have the following:

B--------28.75---------------------------4H 6.5
2B------17.70---------------------------2H 8.75
3B/5B---5.00-----------------------------H 11.75

51.45# "soft" vs. "hard" 27.00#

I used a small kitchen "food" scale and have three pieces of the "B" that are over five pounds (have not taken a chance to saw these into smaller chunks) so that number is more than I guesstimated above.

What would be you guy's recommendations to smelt this material in to ingots for use in the Lee pot to cast .38 cal. bullets for casual plinking and self defense practice at 3, 5, and 7 yards?

Gary/onondaga, would your melting advice as in brucew's post about Superhard apply here as well?

Thanks to all.
