My new old girl friend

I got her just recently at a gun show. No here bore was not like a sewer. Nice bore condition. Only cleaned up like a new gun I took to the range.

Thanks fellas. I was struck by the wood as well. The hotel ballroom where the gun show was at was kinda dimly lit. When I got it home to clean it up a bit I could really see how purdy she was. Nice shiny bore too. Not much finish left on it but there isn't any pitting on it or rust. Very nice find if I do say so myself. I snapped it up becuase the fellow that I bought it from sold me an 03A3 last fall and that is a fine rifle as well so I trusted him. He's moving to AZ and I can't blame him for that. Here's my other old gal too. She's a Smith Corona, serial number and barrel date of 6/43 match. SC bolt also. Red River Arsenal restock. Shoots cast bullets like a house of fire.
