Has anyone come up with a way to make a bullet for a .270 win? i am not really interested in trying to cast any for my rifle, but i would like to try swaging but haven't been able to find anything about that caliber on here. Thanks

Well Berger lists jackets for 270 so you should be able to make quality bullets. Just a matter of getting a press and dies.
The process is the same, just a different diameter set of dies

so it would not be like the 9mm to .40 and .40 to .45 i have been reading about? Thanks

No, not like that. A person may come up with some combination of drawing and annealing to transform something into a jacket of about any caliber, but honestly when its a caliber that high end jackets are available for it would have to be a labor of love.
Now some calibers there is nothing available and in those cases thats when someone getting creative can be worthwhile

It could be, I plan to try with the FN 5.7x28 case for 257 and 264 soon. It is a little labor of course vs. factroy jackets but it should be a lot of fun too.
