When I saw her at the gunshop I knew I just had to have her, but I shouldn't. I passed on opportunity for another day, but I couldn't get her out of my head. I thought about her morning, noon, and night. When I was at work I thought about her. Laying in bed at night, I thought about her. When I was with my WIFE, I thought about her. Her perfect curves and gorgeous lines just would not get out of my head!

After a few days I just knew I had to have her. So last weekend I went to the gunshop and saw she was 1/2 price. She came home with me!

I couldn't have a gun that nice, I would be afraid of scratching it. I love to shoot my firearms and couldn't stand just looking at it. That is for sure a beauty though.

Don't worry about scratching that one, it's already got scratches ALL over it!

Wow half price, and I bet your wife was happy because you saved all that money.

Trust me...this isn't going to be a safe queen. :D I won't own a gun I can't shoot.

I've already got one of Swede's fantastic RG2 moulds on the way and a can of Trail Boss. I've got a ton of other shotgun/revolver powders so I'm gonna have fun with this one.

One thing is for certain though....45 Colt ammo is EXPENSIVE!!! Almost a buck a round for cheapie stuff. Makes me glad that I roll my own.

VERY nice piece sir! Now it needs some fine tooled leather to snuggle into.
SAA's and their properly built clones just ooze old world class.

My Wife likes working with leather so I think I am going to get one of those premade kits for holster and belt from Tandy Leather and have her give it a go.

Yes, they also had a pair of engraved 1873's that were the "coin" finish of my frame...but they weren't marked down and were $999 a piece.

The gun looks great. Who is it made by?

I guess that is probably a Colt clone, but those lines just can't be beaten. The SAA is the best looking revolver of all time and the Browning Hi Power is the best looking auto (especially the old ones with the smaller sights and the safety that is too small).

It is an Uberti Cattleman, factory engraving. 5 1/2" barrel .45 Colt. Part number was 356073 and catalog number is 1519.

Seems derogatory to call it a hog leg. You have fine taste in shooting irons...Ray
