Ok I hope I put this in the right spot. I have a Type I rifle that is in very good shape, at least I think so. I once owned a Type 38 but didn't keep it a long time. I did however save all the brass I had and the Lee Dies. My problem is that the Type I seems to have a chamber with minimum tolerance and the brass fired in the 38 won't size down enough to chamber without some effort. Does another manufactuer offer dies with slighty smaller dimentions? I don't mind paying for them I just don't want several sets of the same thing. I guess what I'm looking for is small base dies in 6.5 Jap, if there is such a thing.

Chamber cast that gun and compare to your reloaded round.
I do have a set of Herters 6.5Jap dies that are clean, [but the decap rod seems bent?] that I would sell for $12.00 plus $6.00 small flat rate box. PM if you want it.
