I don't know about the AR stock but if they are anything like his AK wood then they are great.

Early on some AR rifles with wooden stock sets were available, not sure if those were AR-10 or AR-15.
An article on cutdown M-16 rifles being used as Officers PDWs in some South American armies showed the modified rifles wearing locally produced stock sets made of an exotic wood called Tiger Wood.
