Gents,

The name of mr Blackmon is mentioned a lot as source for swaging dies and tools.

However, I've never seen any of his products and am very curious.

I'd be very gratefull if anyone can post some pics of his dies (and other tools).

Thanks!

I have yet to purchase any of his stuff. Those who have, speak highly of him and his tools. Some months back I wrote to him, and it took quite awhile to get a response, but he did send me his catalog, I have no experience with wait time on die/press orders.

I tried to upload his brochure, but the file size is too large (3mbyt).
PM me with your email, and I'd be happy to send you a copy in pdf format.
Good luck,
Bob

Took maybe 3 months when I ordered .223 swaging dies from him.(made a little over 11K of the .22 jacketed bullets to date) He took time later to answer a few ?? I had. He made the dies to fit the Corbin press I got at a good deal - otherwise I would've bought his RockChucker conversion ram or his press. Good guy, I hope to be able to get a .30 cal. set from him before too long. Good guy.

Sorry, I misspelled Dr Blackmon's name.
I ordered 2 dies and a press conversion last year. It took about 3 months to get them.
Here is some photos of the parts and how they go togeather with the RockChuck press.

Hope this helps. I also changed the Punch Holder's lock nut with a bigger nut.

I have one of his presses, it is basically the old SAS Mighty-Mite horizontal ram model.
