Help request about a Rossi 92

I have a new Rossi Puma in 454 cas.
the loading gate has started to hang out the load portal. Does anyone have a suggestion for an amateur fix, regards Gerry.

The only true fix is replace the loading gate but before you do that check to see if the loading gate screw is tight, carefull you can strip the threads.

The amateur fix is to remove the loading gate and pien the front edge to make it
.006-.008 longer, too long and the gate causes function problems.

Howdy Jake,
Thanks for the suggestion. I had one more try to refit the hatch as I cycled the lever and it popped back in. I,ve cycled 30 rounds through and it has not popped out again yet/ go figure.cheers Gerry.
