Haystacks

Dry Ingredients, mix and set aside in large bowl

3 cups oatmeal
3/4 cup shredded coconut
1/2 cup crushed/ chopped walnuts

in saucepan
4 squares unsweetened chocolate
1/2 cup canned milk
1/2 cup butter
2 cups plus 1 teaspoon granulated sugar

heat on stove til chocolate melts and everything is combined and fluid

mix into dry ingredients slowly until everything is well covered and then spoon onto wax paper in

small "haystacks"

Stand aside and let cool, enjoy!

Easy Frango Mints

1 cup butter
1 1/2 cup powdered sugar
2 eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 teaspoon peppermint extract

1-12 oz package semisweet chocolate chips melted in microwave safe bowl

Whip sugar, eggs, sugar vanilla and mint extract in food processor until light and fluffy.
slowly add in melted chocolate until well mixed, pull lid off and spoon onto wax paper with

teaspoon , let cool and enjoy.

How about this: Equal weights of chocolate chips and fresh-roasted whole coffee beans.

Microwave the chocolate to melt (15 seconds, stir, repeat until melted) and fold iin the whole coffee beans and then drop lumps onto wax paper. Allow to harden.

Now you can satisfy sweet tooth and caffeine cravings simultaneously.

If you don't roast your own coffee, many large supermarkets sell whole roasted beans. and No, those little chocolate-covered "espresso" morsels at the mall candy store won't hold a candle to these...
