need help!

Hello all, i'm planning to develop a rifle load at around 2200 to 2400 fps,
now my question is which one is better (ww) or (Linotype)?

What rifle?
What is your intent or what results you want from the boolit?

it will be a 7x57 and a 308 mainly target and possible deer hunting.

The linotype is harder than lead, so for target shooting at 2400 feet per second it may be best.
The lino may be so hard that it shatters on impact, not so good for deer hunting, great for varmits.
Wheel weights/lead 50/50 with gas checks should hold together and mushroom a bit, might work for a few shots, likley enough to kill a deer or two at those velocitys.

but ww's waterdropped will handle the speed if you push it properly.
you caould also do a mix of ww's and lino like 75 lbs wws and 31 lbs lino and 2.5 lbs tin to make approx 4/6 alloy which makes a slightly larger diameter boolit than ww's.
and will do excellent work for penetrating when hunting and for target work.
