flooplate on 03 Springfield keeps popping off during recoil

Any ideas on what I need to do to fix this? is this a common problem with these guns?

None of mine do it. Look at the latch and spring. I forget how it works and far away
from mine right now, but it is very simple, IIRC.

Looks like the floorplate is the culprit. Latch is too worn to hold it in place during recoil.

New latch may be available, but maybe a touch with a file to square up the
latching surface?

Brownell's has a replacment latch that extends through the floor plate so you can just push it and pop off the floor plate.
