A while back I bought a Model 1894 marlin in 44 mag from our Elder at Church. It came with the original box of ammo he bought it with minus the 10 rounds it has had fired through it since new.It is in almost like new condition and doesnt have a Safety. It is also a Micro groove Rifle.I have been thinking about trading or selling this Rifle. What would be a good asking price for it?It is a 22,000,000 serial no.I dont remember the year he told me he bought it new.Any info will be helpful.Mike

I'd guess around $400.00, but do a search on www.gunbroker.com to get a more accurate estimate. The 1894 is a solid, reliable, and popular gun, you won't have any trouble getting rid of it.
On the other hand, I own the 1894 in .357 and it's far and away the most enjoyable gun I have, so you might want to keep it.
