Just bought another barrel for my Encore. .17 HMR ss 15" Pro Hunter mdl. with flutes. Got it for a good price ($175) new. If anyone here wants a Encore barrel there is a dealer has a bunch of new barrels for $175 on gunbroker.com. I have a heavy barrel rifle in this caliber. It is a real thumper on varments. Rabbits shot out to 50yds tears them up pretty good with V-Max ammo. Hard to believe such a small caliber like this does a lot damage. Got a one shot kill on a large ground hog at about 75 yds. last year.

That is an excellent price. I'll have to go to GB and look for that seller.
