I think this is the place for this. I know its here somewhere but I cant find where.

Dad gave me a 220 SWIFT the other day and I was wondering your favorite loads. I have the 60gr Seaco boolit and have access to my friends Bator mold. I like the Seaco better, its mine and I have s###load of them cast already, so I'd rather use that.

I have some ideas from my books, but what are your experiences?

By the way, I'm also working on my 223 WSSM and have a couple loads for it. Not great= one at 1 1/2" at 50yds, the other at 1" at 50yds, but I lose the first round with this one.

There is no cast data on it so I'm just guessing. Looking at jacketed data, it starts up where the 220 SWIFT stops, so your loads might also help me with that one too.

For some reason I cant delete one of these.

I am working on it.. But as it happens it is too dam cold to go to the riflerange at the moment..
I have 220 Swift with 9" twist barrel and NOE 70 grain boolits for it.
When I have some results, I will post them here.

sorry,
all my experience with 220 swift has been fast flat shootig varmint loads with jacketed bullets. A 55 gn ballistic tip with a max load 0f RL-15 or imr-4064 woeked well. Reminds me, haven't gotten my Rem. 40-X out in the field for some time.
