Went calling to my new favorite gunshop ,to do paperwork for transfer on internet acq..,sitting on counter not even tagged yet is Win 88,284 W !!! It's post 64,but looking good. If it shoots as well,may be marketing one of the Sav.99's in that caliber. :mrgreen: Onceabull :mrgreen:

Man! What a find! Every one I have ever seen was a 243. Nothing wrong with the 243, but not what I want in a lever. Mick.

Good find. I have Win 88 in 308 and one in 243 would love to get one in 284 someday. Great gun, good caliber. Have fun.
