Like to scope Blackhawk down the road Looked at B-square and Weaver, B - square looks alittte over engineered but has more spacing options. Plan on an Ultradot 30mm scope. What is the spacing distance of the Weaver/ Thanks:castmine:

Neither will make you happy. The recoil force is just too much and I have seen them flex so much they were cutting or denting the barrels at the clamp.
Do yourself a favor and buy the Weigand base, drill and tap the gun.

I had one on a BH in 357. The mount iteself is big then add the scope. At some point a handgun stops feeling like a handgun and this helps it along that path.

I also never got great accuracy out of it and did get a nice marks when I took it off.

Another good option would be the Weigand Mount. Very similar design to the SSK T-SOB.

45Driver,
You should go ahead and get that one drilled/tapped. Been down that road, it will get loose.
