Good show. Sounds to me like the apple didn't fall too far from the tree. You and your son have a good time ahead of you shooting, reloading, hunting and making memories. You are a rich man!

No not for revolvers he loads for his 35 Whelen
I did however order a mold from Tom @
Accurate Molds I want him to start castin as well
when he sees all thats involved in making a custom revolver round
accurate he will appreciate them more .........
might have been a mistake
he may find my stash of w/w

Bought my son his first gun when he was 12, a Ruger Bear Cat for Christmas.
Which happens to be his birthday also.
I've have since given him a new gun every year at Christmas.

And the great thing is that you gave him a quality revolver and he'll enjoy a lifetime of use with it and someday be able give it to his son and it'll still be in fine shooting condition.

Did you get a mold from Tom to go with it or does he get to purchase that for himself.

No,You guessed it I did happen to go into Toms' catalog(big mistake,I told him he was trouble)and ordered a mold for him
He will need to find his own ww though
Tom said they would be coming out soon so I will be giving it to him as soon as I get it
turned out to be a present for me a s well
(if you catch my drift)

I gave my Dad one of those for Christmas many years ago it is one of his favorite pistols.
