thought id present my method of pan lubing here as ive heard and read questions about both methods and this is just my method for the pan lube.
im not the last authority on this and for sure others can and will also help with suggestions ive left out. so here i go with my little storie.
i begin with heating my lube [ bullshops "nasa" lube here] over a very low heat so as to not burn off the propertys i want to keep in the lube.
then i pour into the "pan"[here its a steak pan with low sides just the rite height to cover all the grooves i want covered] the melted lube till it covers the boolits lube grooves.

then after allowing it to cool to room temp. [ this also heats the boolits to the temp of the melted lube]

i then use the cutter i made out of a fired 45-70 case that i drilled out thru the primer pocket to accept my punch for removing the boolits from the cutter

after this i then put my thumb over the drilled out primer pocket so as to create suction on the boolit ...this helps to remove it from the hardened lube.

now i have the lubed boolit inside the cutter i use the "punch" to remove the boolit from the cutter...being carefull to not marr up the nose of the boolit while doing so.

now i have a plate full of lubed boolits that are ready for the loading.

takes longer to explain then the practise tho. this is just as fun for me as any of the other "chores" used to create home rolled cartridges.
after lubing in such a fassion...you can then run em thru a sizer if needed and they are already lubed so its just run em thru.
if ive left anything out please do include your suggestions in addition to these as this is meant for a learnig thing not boasting.
have fun pan lubing and shooting.
