I'm running the Star setup and wanted the bullet collator, but Mary at Magma said the collator was out of staock and they were waiting to get several orders standing by before they would proceede with building or ordering more. Anyone running a collator and know of any other sources. How about the pros and cons of same?

Do a search for MA Systems.

Iron River Red this is a small MA collator that works fine for a Star but isn't fast enough for the Auto Luber.

Iron River Red, could you please share your thoughts and experience with the MA collator for the Star. I size several thousand boolits pr month but it's reallt prizy in my opinion. Is it worth the cost?

I see that the MA looks like it will last for a long time. Mr.bulletfeeder has a lot more plastic and is not available for feeding nose down as I understand.

Other thoughts?

Back when I first searched for a collator the MA Systems were more than $1000 and the information packet they sent me said a failure rate (inverted bullet) of 1:1000 for 45 acp bullets.

I have been building my own.

OK I'll play ignoramus. What are these collator(s), what do they do and how do they fit/stage in the casting/sizing process?

A collator is just a feeder, feeder or stacks bullets all in the same direction n a tube so you don't have to.
