I posted this on the group buy results page but im just to happy with the results that i had to post them here as well.
This is a boolit from the NOE group buy 225-70 RN
here are some pictures of targets after coming back from a first try at the range with these beautiful boolits.
i didn't know what to expect for accuracy with them so i loaded about 50 of them with a very large varying range of powder charge.
powder was BL-C2 since i have several kegs of it i thought i would use it.
bullet is 60% WW and 40% lino'
i compared both the hollow point version and solid version and so far the hollow pointed ones seem more promising.
gun is a rem 700 9 twist 20 inch BBL
powder charge was from 20 to 24 grain.
accuracy at the lower end of the charge was not so good, around 4 inches.
accuracy increased as the charge went up.
final hollow point bullet weight was between 67 to 68 grain after lube and GC.
first picture is of a 5 shot group at 100 yards with 23 grains

second picture is a 4 shot group using 24 grains, the fifth shot was a big time flyer, hit the edge of the paper.

my next trip will be working to see if i can duplicate these results.
for a first try with this boolit i am extremely impressed.
even the other cast shooters at the range couldn't believe the accuracy if this little devil.
