I assume you mean Rock River Arms (RRA). If so, yes.

I recommend before buying an AR15 platform rifle you do some research on the sites that specialize in them. The people on those sites use their rifles hard and have lots of experience.

Lots of service rifle competitors use them. They seem to have no problems with them.

yes they are good...but define your need, visit ar15.com and then decide what works for you.

typically good...stag/rra/armalite......probably bushmaster........dont spend money on the colt name.

research is a good thing..and typically cost little...

Unless you need a battle rifle -- a gun you're going to abuse, overheat, neglect, and bet your life on -- then RRA is among the best in my view.

The RRA always gets knocked on the AR sites because of some design decisions that *may* affect the rifle's durability for a warrior.

However, the RRA receivers are among the best fitted and finished in the business. Add to this the high quality of their barrels and the RRA makes a great everyman's rifle.

If range shooting and plinking or hunting are your intended uses, then the RRA would be very hard to beat.

I have three of them and they have all been flawless in function and accuracy.

I have an M4 upper for it also although it is not RRA manufactured.

I own a RRA 6.8 upper and have shot a friends .223. Both are VERY accurate with J bullets. Fit and finish is also above average on all of them I've handled.

I have 3 of them 1 standard, 1 National Match, and 1 mid length carbine. They all shoot like a house of fire and have never malfunctioned even after 1000's of rounds. I would not hesitate to trust my life in any condition with my Rocks.

No matter what brand of AR you go with you will need to learn how to properly clean and lube them. Once you do they will rarely ever let you down.

Just make sure that the upper and lower fit tight. I have built a couple of Ar's and like the RRA.

You may also want to consider purchasing the lower and upper separately. Depending on what you are looking for you may want to consider these uppers.

http://www.whiteoakarmament.com/ They have a reputation for accurate uppers and good service.

White oak makes a very good upper. Or at least my distinguished badge thinks so.

John knows how to make a very accurate upper and has great customer service.

I bought a RRA National Match mouse gun to train my son on before he went to boot camp. With Federal M-193 FMJ ammo it will shoot 1.0 to 1-1/4" groups with iron sights, prone at 100yds (that's about as good as I can still hold). The two stage trigger is great and it truly sports a heavy barrel.

I have since put my Leupold 3.5 x 10 MK on it, with a RRA scout mount and Leupold rings (the same setup I took to Iraq) and we're back in the saddle again. I will work with the rifle more in the future, just have been busy with a .35 Rem Marlin, '85 winny in .32-40 and a .32-20 Marlin.

So many projects, so little time.:Fire:

I bought a RRA for a duty rifle a few years back. It's not been fired much, but I prefer it over the DPMS that they issued to me.

You will find many DCM/CMP, service rifle shooter using them at the national matches. Particularly the Majority of the state team members from the Illinois Hard Dogs. They don't call them flatlanders Hard Dogs for nothing!
