I was in one of the local gun shops today and saw a Dan Wesson revolver. Made in Monson, MA.
One barrel only, it was an 8" non vented rib with full underlug. 357 Magnum. Came with the wrench and a shoulder holster.
They were asking $249 for it, and it looked to be in very nice condition with tight lock up.
Good, Bad, or indifferent deal?

Greetings
I try to stay up on DW prices and That is a good price on a 8 " DW Monson. I would buy it.
They sell on GB for around the 350 area.
The wrenches sell for about $25. The holster is worth something.

Yes, there was one period when Dan Wesson went to pot with an owner change. I don't know specifics but it was a great gun before and after.

I use to work there and Dan Wesson was my boss at the time. When I left I was in charge of the bluing room and I would blue 250+ handguns a day.

Doc, if you blued mine you did a really good job. I got mine in 80 and it is still beautiful.

I got mine in the late 70's. Six inch heavy barrel. It's the most accurate 357 (38 wadcutters especially) I own. I'd buy another one right now. And at that price I'd buy 2. enjoy Mike
