Scored 245#'s today....

I stopped by another one of my regular shops today and picked up 245#'s of ww's. It has been a good week for lead....500#'s for $80.00. I would like to get them free, but none of my shops will give them away.

Congrats on the good luck. I wouldn't look down on $0.16 a pound. I give $20-30 for a bucket from one guy that's an hour way. The 2 local places I've checked I've been able to get weights for free but only in small quantities. There's two or three more local places that I haven't gotten around to checking them.

Wish I could get that much in one week. I have a local spot that I stop by once a month. The going rate around here $15.00 a bucket to $1.00 a pound. You have to check around thats for sure.

I finally asked at a place I've been driving by, they were open today.
50¢ / lb for about 50 lbs, beats nothing I guess. Add to the pile.
He said they do that much in a couple of weeks so I'll stop again in a month or so.
Someday I'll melt 'em down, haven't finished my burner.
