Any good surplus 4895 or a good replacement anywhere?

Does anyone know where I can get surplus 4895 or a good replacement from?



I was wanting to work up some .308 target loads but, I really didn't want to spend $25/lb for powder......

I am using Hornady 168gr. HPFMJBT

Midway has it on sale $12.99/lb. so for 8 pounds with their drop ship +hazmat = 138.91 delivered. That works to $17.37/lb delivered if you get 8 lb.

On sale till 02/28/11 This looks like a good bargain to me and I am going to buddy-up and get some as it works for several of my calibers also.

The burn rate of A2230 is equal to H-Benchmark and just between H322 and H4895. A2230 is a small spherical, Double Base powder.
