I know that just about everything has been tried, but help me out. Can or has a mold be made to where it closes on a 357 magnum or maximum sized case to produce a bullet of around 425 gr. to be fired in a 375? Rim trimmed after pouring of course... Have been looking at what they are doing with empty casings in the swaging dept..

I'm thinking a nose-pour that will enclose the sized case (probably need a base like a sprue plate also to hold the rimmed case in the mould) and have a cavity that will also form the nose portion outside the case like a half-jacket, am I correct? Interesting idea. PM sent.

Thanks Geargnasher. Has been suggested to use a 223 case, no rim, and that there are people on here shooting 375's like that now. Would like to hear how they do it. Maybe 2 spur plates, one to hold brass in.
