The last list I saw was in the back of DGW catalog. I've seen it also on a couple of ML websites but can't remember which one.

I found the same problem with Lee scoops. I bought a second set and filed the tops down to throw charges half way between the scoops of the original set.

Why not just get an adjustable BP ML brass measure.

im another proponent of the lee meassures/dippers. i meticulously weigh each powder charge so far when i load bp. i also use those dreaded lee dippers to acomplish this and here is my method.

i find a meassure that dips around half what i want and double dip using the second dip full like a powder trickler with my finger tapping the side of the dipper to trickle powder into the pan.

i know what you mean tho with the powdermeassures that meter powder into a brass hopper then with a twist allow a portion to trickle down the tube into the case...its slow for me and as with pistol loading with the little dandy{rcbs} it never was as accurate as i wanted it to be and i wound up trickling powder from a powder trickler anyway.

so i just use the dippers anyway as i cant seem to bring myself to use the lyman autotrickler for bp as per the instructions. dont know why just that i read to not to use it for bp so i dont. i bet the chance of a static spark is so remote as to be a non-thing but.......i cannot bring myself to go against the instructions of the company and others.

windy way to say i use the lee dippers i recon.

It's really not that slow to use Lee dippers and a powder trickler. When you think of the time it takes to do the rest of the steps to put together truly accurate ammunition it's no big deal. The biggest dipper throws around 64gr of goex cartridge IIRC. It takes only a 10 or 15 seconds to trickle in the remaining powder with an rcbs trickler. For .45-90 or .45-110 I just use two scoops. It doesn't take long to figure out which two give the best combo for a particular cartridge. Just write that on a piece of paper and store it with your scoops.

One day I'll make a set of custom scoops for my various powder charges, but there are so many other projects to do :bigsmyl2:

That's my $0.02

Chris.

Here is a listing that resembles what you can't find.
http://www.chuckhawks.com/rifle_case_capacity.htm

The weights given are 'water grains', so you will want to adjust from the listed numbers.
Since you want 85 grains of black powder, I expect that any case which holds about 90 grains of water might accomodate 85 grains of powder.

Try double and maybe triple dipping the LEE scoup's.
Or use one of your case's and make up a dipper.

I have a friend that load's for that, I forget the powder, but he use's 1 single sheet of toilet paper as his over powder wad.
I taught him about paper patching so he has a lotta fun now.
He like's to fire a round and then catch the fired empty in his right hand after ejection.

This is the way I found to repeat accurate and quick measured loadings.
CVA powder measure the one that will go to 120 grs. then will strike of the top with a funnel on top. I don't know the Item #. take 3 or 10 different types and brand and they will all throw different volume per setting but that don't mater because those hash marks are just marks to judge the same volume on that measure. What a measure is set at 50grs. the other will be different.

I like to pour the powder in and leave a pile on top, tap it down with same number taps each time to settle the powder and strike it off. Pour, settle, strike and the weight and volume will be consistent. The best way I can put this is if your going to dip you need to settle and strike and the grain marks are only reference marks.

I was talking to my friend and he said it's been awhile since he toyed with it but his load was 29-32 gr of A5744 with a single sheet of T.P. to hold it agains't the base.
