Hit the mother lode today

After stopping at about 20 tire shops in the last 2 weeks and netting 2.5 5 gallon buckets for $60, I stopped by a local shop today and I feel like I hit the jackpot. I got 10 buckets, most of them 5 gallon. I am estimating it's 1000 lbs. I paid $275. A little less than .28 a lb.

BTW, I even got the "EPA and DOT" "hazmat" story at one shop. I was surprised to run across that in Arkansas. Anti-gunner probably. Well, he can .....well, you know!

It's gonna be a busy weekend if the weather is nice.

Yeah, but when there may be 10 buyers vying for them.....will probably move you closer to the top of the list.

In my opinion, it is money well spent. (cheaper than gas to ride looking for other shops)
