I can purchase a grey three station and red single station CH "H" style presses. The guy wants $180 for the pair. I don't really need another press, but I thought the single would be good to dedicate to swaging. Not sure about the three stage.

What do you guys think???

My 2¢
I have a red CH "H" sgl stage press.
it looks heavy duty, but the cross piece
where the die threads into is aluminum...Not steel or Iron.
I'm not sure it will hold up.

Also the linkage doesn't have enough mechanical advantage.
Guess how I know that...I tried swaging some 40 cal bullets
using a soft lead core and a fully annealed 9mm case as a jacket.
I did suceed, but it was a workout...If you start lengthening the handle
I fear you'll OVER stress the cross piece.

I still think the Lee Classic cast press has alot of potential. Especialy with some simple upgrades and at a cost less then half what you mentioned. Lots of guys here allready swaging withone. Havn't seen many problems with teh RCBS RC press potential for swaging either but a bit more expensive then the lee yet still less then the $180

Is the red single stage press a Swag-O-Matic press?

Sixgun,
this is a CH "H" press.

That is like the one I looked at.

The 3 station press is likely a CH 333; a pistol press (but I have been told it can do small rifle as well). If the CH 111 (Magnum) press won't work for swaging, the CH 333 certainly won't either. As has been said, it is lacking the machanical advantage. The Rock Chucker would certainly be better for swaging IMO.
