Just a trip down memory lane...
This is a mold machined by Richard Hoch in 1981 to fit the bore and groove dimensions and the cylinder length of the Ruger Security Six. The front part of the slug is slightly tapered to align itself into and ride on the bore diameter. Extremely accurate with heavy loads of 296.

I had an original Hoch 230 gr 45 ACP mould until a guy offered my 3 times my original purchase price. I should have kept it, even if it was a single cavity. It was an art form in it's own right. I won't make that mistake again. You have a truly great mould.

You know, wish I had one like it in .41. Maybe some day.

I had him make me one for a .375 H&H with dual diameter lube grooves. It was a work of art!

Someone offered me an insane amount of money for it and took it home with them...
