S = Small
U = Undersize
R = Reject

The 2 letter code suffix was suppode to denote the cutter used to produce the mould.

Don't know what the DW means but a member from this forum sent me some to try and they are the only boolit I shoot now out of my 1895 Marlin..they seem to have been made for this rifle. If you get the chance get it but compare prices with Midway (that is where I purchased mine) or such before you pay to much for a used one. For what it is worth though, lately I have been getting some good deals off of ebay, but mostly with the single cavities. Seems like everyone wants double or more cavities. It don't matter to me..just gives me more time out in the man room during these long winter evenings.

Thanks for the replies,
At the moment the price is $52 NZD, A new mold here is around $100 NZD
and the RCBS handles are about the same,
If I can get it for under a 100 it would be a good buy

457193 - Is one of the classic designs for the 45/70. As far as flea bay is concerned you can sometimes get deals on their site but I just watched a single cavity Lyman 22 HP mould go for $144.00 and they have the 22 Bators for a "buy it now" price of $52.00?
