I have a Lyman M die, I believe the longer version. I have the expander plug for my .260 Rem, but I want a plug for my .30-30 and .30-06 loads without buying the body as well. Where do I purchase the plugs only? My google-fu is not working tonight to find them. Thanks!

About the easiest way is contact Lyman customer service and order them from them. That way you are getting what you want they aren`t expensive.Robert

The expander plug for the .30-30 and .30-06 will be the same, so you only need one additional plug. However, I think that the .30-30 uses a different combo of body and/or stem because the .30-30 uses the .30 Short M-die and .30-06 is the .30 Long M-die. As far as I know, the individual plugs are only available from Lyman. I've never seen them for sale anywhere else.

Buckshot who is a member here makes them as well as custom push through sizing dies in the dimensions YOU specify.

selmerfan,

The .30-30 uses the shorter M1 die body, while the .30-06 uses the longer M2 body. So says Lymab. However, it is possible to use an M2 body to expand both cases, but the expander stem will be screwed in almost to the end of the threads.

So, if your .260 Rem die body is the longer M2, you only need a #30 expander button...available from Lyman for less than $5.

If your unable to get them from Lyman(IDK why you would) you can get some from CH Tool & Die. http://www.ch4d.com/
