Hi,

I want to cast 45 Colt bullet.

I am looking for a Lyman mold 45 Colt ( for an Old Army Ruger with a R&D onverter).

Which mould is best:

- 452664

- 452424

- 452490

When I get around to getting set to melt lead, I'll be doing this for my Mountain Gun. I know there's "large" and "small" .45 depending on age and make, so you're probably going to get told you need to slug your cylinder and/or bore to find out if you need .454 or .452, but I'm just guessing. I'll be watching the responses you get.

452664 has good reports for the Lyman series, but the Catshooter 45 will do better.
