On my new-to-me 45-70 rolling block I've got a front sight without any name nor numbers.

The OD is .615 in
The insert fits into a slot about 1/3 of the way from the back
The insert itself is .545 in
The insert has ears at 9 and 3 o'clock
The part that screws in from the back to hold the insert in is knurled.

Not so much interested in who makes it as finding inserts (like will some of the Lymans work)

Thanks,
Walt

Walter: I have a lyman on my rolling block and it sounds like thats what yours is. To save your self some money if the lyman's don't fit. I can send you one of my inserts to see if it will fit no charge. Just PM me your address and I will wrap one in a sheet of paper and mail it in a standard mailing envelope.

If your looking for inserts Lee Shaver's are great! I have the standard Lyman 17A style but many others are available.
