Howdy Folks,

This is a NOE re-run of the 314-129 Spitzer boolit that was run some time ago. It will be offered with the usual NOE PB and GC options, mix and match is fine in one mould, and at standard NOE pricing. No RG moulds will be available, but hollowpointing is an option at $35 per cavity.

This buy is currently scheduled to run in August 2011.

I will be the honcho of this buy and will accept mailed payments and payments via PayPal (+$4.50 per mould). Please post here what you want and I will update the list regularly. The buy will stay open until Swede Nelson tells me to make the last call before it goes to production.

This is really tough for me. I passed on the first go around because they're heavier than my 311 359 Lyman that are SO good in my older Carbine. But I'm now thinking maybe I should get in on this one.

When do we have to make our final commitment? I've got to think about this one.:coffeecom

Its not going to run until August by the current schedule, so by the end of June or so. You have some time.

I am looking at this bullet and thinking I would give it a try in a TC Contender .30-30 or .30 Herrett. Any reason why this bullet will not work with these applications?

These are only about 9 grains heavier than what my 311 359's weigh lubed and checked, so I think I need this one to back up the old Ideal.

I'll take one of these in the 4 Cavity, all GC design. Let me know when you need the $$.

Anyone able to predict if this bullet would perform well in a CZ-527 carbine 7.62 X39 with a .313 groove diameter?

Gas checked?
Plain base?
Hollow pointed?

Hmmm.....I reckon I could go a .316 for my .303's

I bought one on the first group buy knowing it would be a little small. It cast exactly on spec at 0.314" so I lapped it a bit and it works pretty well in my .303 (0.315" throat). I am still working up loads but it is showing promise. So far it seems to like the faster powders and moderate loads.

I wanted a light boolit and there just aren't many around for .303 so I went with this one. No regrets and the mould is beautiful and casts perfectly.

I guess it would be possible to run a .316, but we would likely need a number of buyers for NOE to run both .314 and .316. Perhaps a future buy in .316 is the answer.

FIRST put me down for a 5 cavity, all GC

Blazer, most 30 Cal T/C bbls. have a .3095 -.310 throat, or that what all my mike out at. A couple of my NOE 311XXX molds drop at .312-.313, what I do is lube and size in my lubsizer with a .313 sizer die, then I PUSH & SIZE them through a Lee .309 sizer die I honed out to .3095-.310, Probably a bit anal on the sizing by not just going to .309 or .310 :bigsmyl2:

I'm new at mold ordering. Think I'd like a 3 cavity, 2-GC & 1-PB, for my 7.62x39.

But the 7.62x39 case neck is only .236 deep and this bullet length base to crimp groove is .337 +GC. So the seated depth is more than the neck depth. I thought this was bad?

So is it OK for my 7.62x39? With 1680 or maybe 4198?

Thanks.

I got my mould last week. As you guys are getting your moulds shipped to you from a foreign country (USA) I would imagine it will take a bit longer. How long does it generally take for you to get something from here? I'm having some stuff sent to me (in Florida, USA) from Canada, and both shipments are taking longer than they would if they were coming from within the USA.
