I wish they offered a kit for the old style small block single cavity molds. Maybe a kit for a small block chevy????

Those prices are before shipping - and they won't sell you just a screw if that's all you need - but a couple guys here will !

The single cavity sprue plates from Red River Rick/KAL are superb. Which reminds me, I need to order some more and some handles sometime soon.

I wish RCBS had a rebuild kit too. I saw a bunch on an auction site and like a dummy I didn't pick it up and haven't seen it since.

I wish RCBS had a rebuild kit too. I saw a bunch on an auction site and like a dummy I didn't pick it up and haven't seen it since.

I called RCBS's customer service to see about ordering a few to replace some badly worn/abused plates on a couple used molds I ended up with. They asked what molds I had and my address. I explained that the damage was wear/neglect and not warranty. They sent two plates at no charge. Honestly, I would have felt better paying for them but they wouldn't hear of it.

The new Lyman sprue plates are thicker material than the old ones. Now if Lyman could cut the sprue hole with a sharp edge it would be nice.
